Our physical (born of water) identity is how the world sees us. Jesus was no exception. In the Spirit He was/is the Lord. In the NewBirth by the HolySpirit our identity is ChildOfTheHolySpirit. We should not be dismayed by the world seeing our old identity just as Jesus was not dismayed by the people of His day seeing Him as the son of a carpenter.
