As Jesus reputation grew He became a polarizing influence. Either men believed on Him or they saw Him as a maniacal insurrectionist. <p>His friends did not want Him to be in such a position and so discouraged Him from His mission. <p>We should take note that those closest to us may not agree with the special plan of the Lord for us as it causes division with the status-quo group.
