Jesus is telling them that they have never and will never hear from the Father or see the Father except in Christ Jesus. <p>Jesus is the one and only expression of the Father in Word and in Spirit. All other perceptions of Him are error.<p>Note that Jesus was speaking to Jews who worshipped the god of the OldTestament. He was telling them that what they were worshipping was not really YHVH. They were worshipping a wrong idea about YHVH. So, He came to manifest the Truth about the HolySpirit, YHVH.
