Jesus is simply saying that you cannot see the Spirit nor detect who has been born of the Spirit with natural eyes. <p>Calvinists say this scripture implies that the Spirit decides who will be born of the Spirit and who are not. If that were the case why did Jesus bother telling Nicodemus he must be born again.
