Grazing animals will eat in the grass in the pasture they are corraled until they pull what is left up by the roots.
When the grass is gone the cattle and sheep die.
The government is like a shepherd who is responsible to make sure his flock does not destroy the grass. So, he guides them to other pastures so that the grass that was formerly grazed can heal.
Under Capitalism (based on freedom) the government enables the people to innovate to find new pastures and to provide for their future.
Under Communism (based on control) the government simply makes sure that all the people get the same amount of grass until there is no more for any of the people and they die.
