Do not confuse the works of the enemy with Christ. To do so is blasphemy.
Christ is sovereign but He does not exercise ExtremeSovereignty. He has given us FreeWill. He has given us dominion.
The trials that we go through are the result of us living in a fallen world in which evil has manifested in the SinNature as well as sickness and disease.
The Lord gave dominion to man who turned it over to Satan who is the enemy that steals, kills and destroys.
Christ Jesus won back all the power that He had given to man.
That power and dominion is now in the hands of Christ`s stewards until His return.
We can use that power to make good choices and to bend our will to good things, avoiding that which is evil.
