The Book of Ezra covers the period from 539 BCE to the second half of the 5th century BCE. <p>The book is divided into two parts, with -> the first part covering the return of the first group of exiles and the completion of the Temple in Jerusalem.  -> the second part covers the mission of Ezra to Jerusalem.
