1Co 12:1-13 is obviously about SpiritGifts but underlying this discussion is the uprooting of polytheism 1Co 12:2 coming from ignorance of the LordJesusChrist Joh 1:1.<p>1Co 12:1-6 specifically deal with the polytheistic error that was (and still is) in the church<p>Humanity has a long history of polytheism, with it still being prevalent today.<p>Even in Christianity there are the shadows of polytheism in the form of trinitarianism.<p>In the Corinthian church there was a lot of ignorance and misconceptions regarding the HolySpirit and SpiritGifts.<p>That continues today despite this chapter due to polytheistic strongholds.<p>The word that keeps appearing in this chapter is the word `one` to emphasize what was stated in Deu 6:4 - One God..<p>Jesus is the embodiment of His HolySpirit. He always flowed naturally in His HolySpirit. In so doing He said and did things that were supernatural.<p>The secret to understanding the HolySpirit and SpiritGifts is that we enter into a partnership, a symbiotic relationship with Him.
