Jabez asked the Lord for that which He not only desires for us but has provided for us in Grace. <p>Jabez lived before Christ Jesus came and so he did not know how much the Lord loved Him.  If we pray Jabez prayer today we too don^t know how much the Lord loves us!<p>Jesus is the Truth and He has provided all things for life and Godliness 2Pe 1:3.<p>Jesus has provided us with all spiritual blessings Eph 1:3.<p>Jesus wants us to come boldly to Him for that which we need Heb 4:16.<p>So understanding the love of Christ we should pray this way: -> Thank you Lord for all your blessings -> Thank you Lord for prospering me -> Thank you Lord for your presence in my life -> Thank you Lord for protecting me from evil -> Thank you Lord for delivering me from sorrows<p>This turns the prayer into an affirmation of His goodness, love and Grace.  As we begin to think this way we can^t help but praise and worship Him Psm 22:3 Joh 4:23.
