'In Spite of Ourselves' is a John Prine tune which is catchy and cute on its own.  But I heard 'In Spite of MYSELF' coming through loud and clear as I thought about the Amazing Grace of Christ Jesus and where He has brought me. <p> In writing the lyrics I tried to keep some of the cute flavor of the original song while conveying the message of abundant life that is mine and can be yours too through the Love and Grace of Christ Jesus.
