Jesus meditated on every prophecy of Messiah, accepting the implications of the prophecies.   I am sure those which spoke to His rejection, His being beaten, His being pierced, His being slain were faced and accepted in a very real sense.  He lived through those things in His mind and heart even before He lived through them physically.
