How do we sanctify ourselves?  We choose to receive the gift of EternalLife through our LordJesusChrist.<p>When we do so He makes us holy by imputing His righteousness to us through His indwelling HolySpirit. <p>The result is that we are one with Him, experiencing the glory of His person and the benefits of all He is and has.<p>The ^you^ is referring to us as a society and not just to us as individuals.  Regarding societal holiness the expectation is that we enforce His laws regarding public behavior.  <p>Public behavior is a testimony to goodness or evil.  Hence we have the responsibility to the next generation to limit bad examples in public.
