When people reject the Truth they move further and deeper into lies. Here, they accuse Jesus of not being a Jew and operating by power of Satan. <p>To Justify themselve they accuse and denigrate those who are not like them, who disagree with them.<p>A Samaritan was of Jewish ancestry but they were not orthodox Jews. They did not subscribe to the rigid legalism that was part of the southern kingdom of Judah.<p>Jesus was supremely orthodox as concerning the law but not so much with respect to Jewish tradition. It was for that reason that they called Him a Samaritan.<p> There is division in the BodyOfChrist today because of tradition. tradition does not save us. It is the Word that is the seed in us that brings us into an EternalLife relationship with His HolySpirit who abides in us and we in Him.<p>We must avoid the trap of Satan to divide us on the lines of tradition and minor points of doctrine striving to maintain the unity of the HolySpirit.
