Jesus directly called the 12.<p> Were you directly called?  Not until you heard the Gospel.  When you heard the Gospel the HolySpirit revealed to you that it is Truth. This is the calling that we receive.  Our response to it seals our being chosen.<p> The 12 had to follow Jesus in order to seal their calling and be chosen.<p>The HolySpirit is given to us to empower us to ask and receive, to bear fruit, and to live in Christ`s authority.
