When there is no excess, there is no offering, there is no giving to the poor.<p>Slothfulness and the SelfWorship from which it sprang has resulted in poverty.<p>It gets serious when people are starving.   But we know that a harvest comes over time.   You can determine to sow seed today but you have nothing to eat today or tomorrow or the next day.   The harvest comes in due time and nothing, including anguish, suffering nor even prayer, can speed it up.
