For the Lord to ask Hosea to do such a thing showed how His heart ached for His people.  Hosea`s willingness to obey demonstrated His love for the Lord and his fellow countrymen.<p>Daniel and Paul demonstrated the same kind of love and torment over Israel`s plight.
