What we have here is a disconnect.   The Lord wants relationship, not our stuff.  Cain valued his stuff and did not appreciate the Lord not valuing it Himself.<p>Interestingly, the pride and SelfWorship in Cain enabled Him to be angry at His Creator!  <br>That is an indication of the depth of Satanic involvement in Cain^s life.<p>We see this kind of anger in atheists and agnostics who resent their dependence on the Creator.
