For a person to be unappreciative of the two people who gave them life indicates they also lack appreciation for the Lord, the source of life.<p>Such a person is likely a self-worshipping, abuser of others. <p>This Law, as does all of our Lord`s other laws, has a self-contained reward and punishment encapsulated in it.<br>Those who honour their parents will be blessed with long life.<br>Those who do not will not experience long life.<p>Parents who do not demand respect and honour from their children are setting them up for short lives filled with conflict and disappointments.
