There is no place for passivity in a believer because Satan is constantly trying to undermine us.<p>But to fight is antithetical to most Christians.<p>Such read this verse and gut its import by saying fighting the fight of faith is only SpiritualWarfare. But James tells us that real faith produces works - and those works play out in the PhysicalRealm.<p>We `lay hold` on the gift of EternalLife by bringing it to bear in the PhysicalRealm. Otherwise EternalLife is just theoretical.<p>Exercising our testimony is the foundation of our impact on the PhysicalRealm. It opens the door for the KingdomOfGod to manifest on earth as it does in heaven.<p>We are instructed to put on the WholeArmourOfGod and we are expected to use the SwordOfTheSpirit - the WordOfGod - to destroy the strongholds of the enemy, to set people free and to heal them.<p>There is our personal fight, but there is also the fight that the BodyOfChrist should be fighting in unity.
