The promises the Lord made to Abraham regarding the land were now fulfilled.   There was nothing else to be done.<p>The current state of Israel was created by the UnitedNations. It is secular.  Whether or not it is actually Jewish people occupying it is in question.<p>The history of Israel as a nation in the OldTestament and the history of the Jews since Christ has been one of a self-serving people who did not bless the other nations.   Rather, they have arrogantly stuck together and disdained Gentiles as being less than human.<p>It is in Christ Jesus, the one Jew, by which all nations of the earth have been blessed through Abraham.
