Danger is often thought of in physical terms but spiritual danger has a more long term effect.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
The `Me` generation. Self Worship is idolatry.

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Natural affection is wholesome, tender, warming and selfless. The affection of the self-worshipper is the opposite. We are seeing hate toward those who love the Lord.

Traitors are destroying our country and traitors to Christ are compromising with other religions. All of the compromise is so that their pleasure will not be interrupted.

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Jesus said tarry in Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high. The power that was received was the Holy Spirit, the Lord Himself.
The Holy Spirit, who is the Lord, is the power of our faith. To deny the power of the Lord is to deny the Holy Spirit in us who is Christ in us, our only hope.

Hypocrites will seize opportunity to gratify the carnal lusts.

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
The knowledge of the Truth is a personal relationship with Christ Jesus via His indwelling Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit Of Christ Jesus is the Spirit Of Truth.
Many people know about Jesus.     Some even know what He said and did.     But knowledge about Christ Jesus is not the knowledge of the Truth that this verse is speaking of.
Knowledge of the Truth comes by faith in the Word of the Lord concerning Jesus.     That faith produces Eternal Life in the believer on the authority of the Lord`s Word .
In the secular realm, knowledge is the end all.     Disciplines are contrived in which knowledge is pursued.     However, without the correct assumptions, a discipline or thread of knowledge is merely an intellectual game having no connection at all to Truth.
The acknowledgement of the Creator must be assumption number one.     Otherwise, the pursuit is the pursuit of a fool.
Understanding the Truth comes only by exercising the Truth.

In order for this verse to make sense and be effected in your life you must understand and do the following.
First of all, the mighty hand of the Lord is inside you.
   ➛ The mighty hand is the Holy Spirit .
Secondly, you must partner with the Holy Spirit.
   ➛ Ask for and submit to His leadership .
Thirdly, know His Word
   ➛ The Word tells us what to expect to happen .
Fourthly, believe the Word
   ➛ Heart Faith is necessary in the partnership .
Fifthly, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus
   ➛ Speak to the Holy Spirit in Jesus` name .
Sixthly, glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.
   ➛ Do not receive praise from men .
Seventhly, you will be exalted as a Son Of God.
   ➛ The Holy Spirit will manifest His power through you .

Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you.
We are His and He is ours. We lack nothing in Him.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:
Be not deceived is a warning to all who would entertain conversation with the devil.
None of you have ever or likely will ever be approached by Satan as he is a spirit and needs a body to manifest in this world.
But, Children Of Satan, humans who have rejected the Truth of Jesus Christ, are everywhere.
Each of us is either a Child Of The Holy Spirit or a Child Of Satan.
Each of us speaks the oracles of the one who is our master.
Be sober, be vigilant is a warning against deception by which people are devoured by Satan,

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brothers that are in the world.
Satan is our adversary and, in this case, our afflicter. We have power over him through the Word and the Holy Spirit.

But the Lord of all grace, who has called us unto his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. Translated from KJV
We are perfect in the New Spirit. Our soul (mind, motions and will) must be transformed into the Mind Of Christ. That does not generally happen during our lifetime but will be accomplished at Jesus` return when corruptible puts on incorruptible.
