We are now and have been in a spiritual war for sometime.
The war is between the children of Satan and the children of God ( Christ Jesus).
Christians have been taught IN ERROR to be tolerant of evil when the Bible tells us to 'give no place to the devil', 'to abstain from the appearance of evil', 'to resist the Devil', 'to submit yourself to God'.
Allowing evil to hold positions of power is an abomination as "the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof".
If you think what I am saying is over-the-top you must be totally unaware of what Christ Jesus is going to do when He returns.
As soon as Christ translates His people from the earth (living And dead) into the clouds (above the earth) He will destroy the wicked and the works of their hands.
Christ will literally cleanse the earth of any evidence that the wicked have ever existed. All their monuments will become dust - no big chunks, no memory of or evidence that they ever existed.
So, the question for Christians is this:
"Are we doing the work of Christ in supporting that which He will have to destroy?"
Logic tells us the answer is a resounding "NO".
We have preached a gutted Gospel containing only the gift of God to those who receive it when the full Gospel contains the consequences of having rejected the free gift.
Those consequences are containing the word 'perish'.
Perish: " Suffer death, typically in a violent, sudden, or untimely way."
But in Biblical terms is contains the concept of ETERNAL DYING.
Now, if the Lord is justified in meting out such judgment what are we to do in dealing with those who are facing such? Should we ENABLE them to be successful, to be lords over us, to set policy?
Again, logic says "NO".
Jesus commanded His disciples to introduce Him to the people they encountered. He told them that those who received their message should be blessed with peace, whereas those who rejected their message should be cursed by the shaking of dust from the feet of the messengers AS A TESTIMONY AGAINST THEM IN THE DAY OF JUDGMENT.
As we approach the end of this age, Satan and his children are going to do more and more violence in their effort to take over the world (globalism). True Christians will be hated () as they come against the demonic spirit of ANTI-CHRIST.
Are we going to try to co-exist with those who seek to destroy us or will we marginalize them?
What do I mean by marginalize? Certainly not physical harm. However, I do mean that
- we deny them promotion.
- we deny them support.
- we deny them opportunity.
You put pressure on people who are misbehaving, people who are bad apples, people who do harm, people who destroy, people who abuse IF YOU WANT THEM TO CHANGE.
We cannot change their hearts - only Christ can - but we can demand that they be civil and that they accept the common good as a boundary in which they live.
Will we?
Only courageous people of God can and will do this.
Charlies was such and that is why he was hated.
