Globalism seeks to destroy all forms of religion in favor of Secular Humanism.   

Globalism is a revived spirit of Nimrod who aspired to make him and his people above the control of their Creator who had sent a Flood only a century or two before.   

The Tower they were building was to enable them to escape death in case the Creator sent another Flood.   

Globalism is the political ideology of the religion of Secular Humanism which is a modern day manifestation of the spirit of Nimrod, Babel and Baal worship.
