I became a Christian when I was 11 and did not quite grasp the concept of darkness and light, lost and found.
I just thought all people saw things as I did a believer in Christ Jesus.
I thought the concept of being lost and in darkness may have been a little heavy.
The reason for this is that I grew up in a time when America had a general awareness of God even though many of them were not overtly religious.
As to the word 'lost' I now see how appropriate it is with millions of people not knowing where they came from, why they are here and where they are going.
As to the word 'darkness' I now hear the words and see the faces of people who are obviously in darkness, unable to think coherently, behaving irrationally and looking like they came from another planet.
This is no longer the 1950's when there was a large middle America where political differences were minor and virtually everyone would say their religion was Christian when pinned down.
We are now living in a world that is technologically amazing but spiritually terrifying. The level of demonic possession is staggering.
There is no middle America today. There are only 2 ends with a chasm between them.
- MAGA (for traditional America)
- Destruction (perversion)
Now, I know the left would disagree with the terms 'destruction' and 'perversion' but this is what you get from people who are lost and in darkness.
