Common sense is a gift from God which is abandoned as people turn from Him.   (Atheism's foundation is a denial of basic Truth).

This opens the door for Satan to twist the minds of such people to the point where irrationality becomes normal to them.   

He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned. Mar 16:16 Paul echoes Christ when he says we are saved by Grace Through Faith Eph 2:8.      The baptism referred to here is immersion into Christ Jesus Joh 15:7.      It is not enough just to believe that Jesus is the Christ.     We must immerse ourselves in Him Joh 17:21 being Baptized In The Name Of Jesus Christ.      How do we do that?         ➛ absorb the Word    ➛ Spirit Baptism    ➛ have the Mind Of Christ As to Water Baptism, it is public evidence of faith in Christ.     It is not evidence to the Lord as He knows the heart of man.      Paul makes it clear that Spirit Salvation is a result of Heart Faith in Christ Jesus and oral confession that Jesus is the resurrected Christ in Rom 10:9,10.      Public Confession of Christ confirms our salvation to ourselves and those to whom we witness.     It is a precursor to lifelong sharing of the Testimony Of Jesus Christ.

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2Th 2:12 Damnation is the end result of rejection of the Truth, believing the lie and worshipping unrighteous pleasure.
