When we talk about intimacy with God the first thing that must be clarified is who this God is .
I know Jesus and I have received the Spirit of Christ Jesus.
➛ Is this God, Jesus?
➛ Is the intimacy with the Spirit of Christ Jesus?
The answer to both questions is YES.
So, why don't we just call our Mighty God by His name - Jesus?
There is no power in the word 'God' because 'God' can refer to any god man can imagine.
But no one is confused about Jesus because Jesus appeared on this earth and is documented to be a real person.
Even unbelievers know whom Christians are talking about when they use the term 'Jesus'.
Since there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved , I urge every person to talk about the Supreme Being using His name - Jesus.
Jesus has all power in heaven and earth leaving no power for any other being.
I make a big deal about this because focus is critical. When we approach 'God' we need to know clearly and unequivocally who He is. We need to know His name so we can properly address Him.
Otherwise we actually do not meet God. We only meet the Notion Of God.
Jesus said that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life .
Jesus told us to come unto Him .
Jesus said that only those who believe in Him would not perish .
The eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent Spirit ( God is Spirit ) incarnated Himself in Christ Jesus .
Jesus made it possible for us to be cleansed and made acceptable for His Spirit to inhabit us and us inhabit Him .
Jesus called His Spirit His Father because His flesh was formed by the Holy Spirit impregnation of Mary .
Jesus came in His Father's name . This means that Jesus is the name of His Holy Spirit Father .
Jesus instructed us to talk to His Father (in us) using His name, Jesus .
There is no other Spirit than the One True Living God who manifested Himself in Christ Jesus who begets us into Himself by faith in His express image , the Word He spoke and the works He did, not the least of which was His resurrecting Himself from the dead .
So, simplify, clarify and unify your theology under the Name Of Jesus who makes you One with Him by imparting His Holy Spirit to you.
To be intimate with His Holy Spirit is to be intimate with Christ Jesus - the One and Only True and Living Mighty God and Saviour.
Once you are clear on

➛ who the Father is
➛ who the Holy Spirit is
➛ who Jesus is
you are prepared to enter into intimate personal relationship with Christ Jesus by faith in Him as Mighty God who gives Himself (His Holy Spirit) to those who ask.
