Our spirit defines us as moral or immoral beings.   It is our essence, our foundation.   It is our existence in the Spirit Realm.   

Our soul is our mind, will and emotions enabling our spirit to interact with the world.   It is our consciousness, our sense of self, our expression of our reality.   

Our body is our transportation, the vehicle in which we traverse the Physical Realm and interact with it based on our spirit and our soul.   

When man sinned in the garden his spirit became disconnected from God and in God's Words: man died.   

The soul and body of man continued, but his spirit was corrupted and relegated to a position of irrelevance.   

Because we were created in the image of God, we ceased to be like God.   It is in the New Birth that our position as Children Of God is restored.   

When we are Born Again we receive a New Spirit and are New Creatures.   We once again become first and foremost Spirit Beings, like our Lord Jesus Christ.   

While we are in untranslated bodies with minds affected by the corruption of this world, we remain in a state between Spiritual And Carnal.   

For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Rom 7:19 Good intentions followed by laziness, distraction and vanity.     Satan enjoys tripping us up and the flesh ( Sin Nature) makes it easy for him.     (This is about us before we are born of the spirit).

For the flesh lusts against the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would. Gal 5:17 Flesh and Spirit are incompatible.     We must crucify the flesh in order for the New Spirit to manifest in us.      Paul said that he died daily.     1Co 15:31 So the death of the flesh will never be complete until it is translated from corruptible to incorruptible at the Lord`s appearing.     1Co 15:54

So, we war from the Spirit Realm by our New Spirit who now dominates our soul and body.   

This means that that part of us which interacts with the Physical Realm, our soul and body, are instruments by which the Spiritual Warfare is conducted.   

A person cannot be changed by a spiritual person who never has the mind to intervene or who holds their tongue from preaching and teaching the Gospel.   

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of the Holy Spirit. 1Co 1:18 The ones who perish are those who do not have a Love Of The Truth.     Such reject the Truth as foolishness.      Not only do those who reject the Truth face the Lake Of Fire in The Judgment, but they also endure a physical lifetime of bondage, hardships, disappointments, sickness and ultimate death.      We who have a Love Of The Truth understand the power of the Gospel and so are able to appropriate the provisions of the Lord`s Grace including freedom, health and Abundant Life.      It is the preaching of the Gospel that delivers the power to save the one who hears, believes and receives it.     The power is not in Water Baptism but in Jesus Baptism involving His Word and His Holy Spirit.

For after that in the wisdom of the Lord the world by wisdom knew not the Lord, it pleased the Lord by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 1Co 1:21 There is no substitute for preaching the Gospel of Grace Through Faith for the unbeliever to be saved.     It may seem foolish to preach and it may seem foolish to believe but that is the prescription.

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 1Co 1:23 Jesus is a stumblingblock to the Jews because they count their genetics as sufficient for salvation.     Mat 3:9 The gentiles see spirituality as foolishness preferring to focus on the carnal.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?     and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?     and how shall they hear without a preacher? Rom 10:14 Reversing the order we find that:    ➛ a preacher must be sent    ➛ the preacher must preach the Gospel    ➛ the hearer must believe the Gospel    ➛ the believer must call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ    ➛ the Holy Spirit and Word birth them into the kingdom

So, those who would argue that the Spiritual Warfare is conducted ONLY by prayer are ignoring the life of Christ Jesus and His command:

And he said unto them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mar 16:15 This is the Great Commission.     It is still in force.     We are expected to carry the Gospel to every creature.      Jesus did not expect every person to believe, but He wants us to make sure all nations hear the Gospel as it is a criteria for His return.     Mat 24:14

The spirit is to direct the soul and body.   If the spirit is not directing the soul and body it is still dead and not Born Again.   

The evidence of our faith is our works Jam 2:18 .   Faith is of the Spirit Realm and must manifest in the Physical Realm or it is powerless and ineffective.
