This afternoon (20240930 05:00) 2 town police officers came to my house regarding an event that took place a little earlier with a renter who is 2 months behind on their rent whose electricity was turned off earlier in the day who came to my house on 309 W Main St for no other reason than to complain.
In the course of watching the interaction on our driveway between her and my wife I witnessed her make a physical move toward my wife. At that point I went and got my pistol and went to her to tell her to get off our property.
She left and that was it until the police arrived whom I graciously allowed entry to my home. Upon telling them what happened they began to lecture me on what I could do with my gun on my property.
I told them they were harassing me which they denied and continued to inform me of my rights and those of the renters even after I told them to leave. It was a very heated exchange, especially on my part because I saw these officers as the arm of the left in my home town, in my home, denying my rights and defending the rights of deadbeats.
These officers and their commander are enemies of the citizens of Benson and will be used more and more as the arm of the left to take away all our rights. What are we going to do about it in OUR community?
