Title: What is the doctrine of Christ?

The apostle John recognized the Lord Jesus Christ in a way that the other disciples did not.   As a matter of fact, Judas Iscariot did not recognize Jesus at all.   Even Peter, after confessing the partial Truth about Jesus , ended up showing his unbelief in the Lord Jesus Christ as Mighty God .

So, it is no wonder that through the 2000 years since Jesus manifested `God` to us that believers have waffled about `God` and Jesus.

Specifically, the doctrine of the Trinity has provided the waffling space that most Christians have wandered in.

The Doctrine Of Christ is very specific, identifying the Lord Jesus Christ as the One and Only manifestation of `God`.

To understand the New Testament verses listed below which speak to the Lordship of Christ Jesus we must absorb the full implication of Isaiah`s prophecy regarding the Messiah.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
This conflicting description of a single being could not have come from a rational mind.     It came from the Holy Spirit who would fulfil these words in Christ Jesus.

Jesus was born of woman and His Holy Spirit and so He is the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father.     This means that the Father begat Himself!

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus.     Jesus is the body of the Holy Spirit.     We are made in the image of our Creator.     We are Spirit Soul And Body and so also is our Creator.     His name is Jesus.

Now we are in position to receive the revelation of Christ Jesus as the fulfillment of that prophecy.
In the beginning was the Soul, and the Soul was with the Holy Spirit, and the Soul was the Holy Spirit.
What does it mean by in the beginning was the Word ?
A `word` is an expression of an idea.
An idea comes from a mind that is self-aware and able to think.
When a word is spoken it has a purpose and it often has an intensity or emotion connected with it.
Mind, will and emotions constitute a Soul.

So, the Soul Of God existed in the beginning.

What does it mean by the Word was with God ?
    God is a Spirit
A spirit is the qualitative aspect of a being.     It represents the nature and value system of that being.
The spirit of a being is the essence of that being.
So, the Soul Of God was with the Spirit Of God in the beginning.

What does it mean by the Word was God ?
It means that the Soul Of God and the Spirit Of God constitute one divine being.

emphasizes the fact that the Soul Of God and the Spirit Of God existed in the beginning.

tells us that this God who is Soul and Spirit created all things.

tells us that Jesus made the world.

tells us that the Soul Of God, the Word, was made flesh and dwelt among us.     Now we have the Body Of God.     This is Jesus.

tells us that Jesus is the express image of God.

So, God is a single being who is Spirit Soul And Body just as man is who was created in His image .
    the Soul Of God,
    the Spirit Of God and
    the Body Of God
constitute one God as is emphasized in .

Whoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, has not the Holy Spirit.     He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has both the Holy Spirit Father and the Son.
If a person believes in some god other than the Lord Jesus Christ, such a person has left the Doctrine Of Christ.

Satan has attacked the church, specificaly with the doctrine of the Trinity which says that God is three persons.

Three persons are three people and that equates to three gods.

The Doctrine Of Christ is that
Jesus is Immanuel - God with us
Jesus and His Holy Spirit Father are One
Jesus has all power in heaven and earth
    Jesus is Mighty God
    Jesus is Everlasting Father
Jesus is the express image of His Holy Spirit
    Jesus is the Righteous Judge
Jesus is the Spirit Soul And Body of our Creator

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him farewell:
Reject any minister who does not confess Jesus Christ as Mighty God, crucified and raised from the dead.

Reject any minister who implies that Jesus defers to any other being.

Jesus is the One and Only True And Living God who manifests
    the eternal Spirit and
    the eternal Soul in
    the eternal Body.

Jesus is the Spirit Soul And Body of our Creator.

This is the Doctrine Of Christ.

For he that bids him farewell is partaker of his evil deeds.
To agree with or to be passive toward a minister who denigrates the Lord Jesus Christ by placing Him in subordination to another being is to participate in their error.

Do not support a ministry that does not confess that Jesus is
    Mighty God,
    crucified,
    raised from the dead,
holder of all power in heaven and earth and
    Righteous Judge.

Do not allow `God` to replace the Lord Jesus Christ upon the Throne Of Majesty.     To do so is denial of the Lord Jesus Christ as Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Saviour, King and Lord of all.

I can imagine the pressure that the original Jewish Christians had upon them.   As a matter of fact, the book of Hebrews represents Paul`s attempt to keep the Doctrine Of Christ pure.

Essentially, the synagogue has always been the center of Jewish life.   Since the hierarchy of Judaism categorically rejected Christ Jesus as Messiah, much less as I Am, they would not let the name of Jesus be used in the synagogues.

So, what do people do when they are put under pressure?   They compromise.

True Christians know that Jesus is the physical incarnation of YHVH.   The term `Son` with respect to Jesus only indicates that His physical birth was begotten by His Holy Spirit.   It in no way indicates subordination to the Father or any other being.

Because Jesus manifested His Holy Spirit Father perfectly, His body was glorified and embued with all the power of His Holy Spirit Father.

Can I call Jesus, YHVH, and that be just as good as calling Him Jesus?   No.   See the following verses which attest to this answer:

So, talking to God or YHVH or Jehovah or Elohim or Adonai or any other `name` is unacceptable.   He only hears us when we come to Him in His name, Jesus.

Back to the Jewish believers who wanted to stay in the synagogue.   They compromised and stopped using the name of Jesus and instead used the more palatable name `YHVH` as the rabbis and priests did.

After all, YHVH is the Father of Jesus they argued or rather Satan argued to them.   Accordingly, the Jewish Christians began to believe in Father and Son as separate persons.

But what about the Holy Spirit?   They were baptized with the Holy Spirit and knew that He was the Spirit Of God.   So, there must be three persons, or so they reasoned.

Not acknowledging Jesus as the One and Only True And Living God enabled the `believing` Jews to stay in the synagogues (not be ostracized).

And then there were the gentiles who had long histories of polytheism.   To convince them that there was only One God was virtually impossible.

So, teaching them that God was multiple persons sort of fit into their pagan history.

Not having been there and not being privy to the actual thoughts of the people involved I can only speak to these things from spiritual insight.

Regardless of the details of how things came about, the bottom line is that there are very few people who are willing to say unabashedly that Jesus is the Creator of all things, the Almighty God, the only Savior, the only Righteous Judge, the only Lord and King of all.

But such as do, enter into fellowship with the Holy Spirit Father of Christ Jesus and become One with Him.   Such have eaten His flesh and drunk His blood.
Truly, truly, I say unto you, He that believes on me has everlasting life.
We have Eternal Life now and forever because the Holy Spirit is Eternal Life and He will never leave or forsake us.

It is truly amazing how that the Holy Spirit gives us so much simply because we honour His Son by believing on Him.

I am that bread of life.
Jesus is telling the Jews that He is Messiah and that the purpose of the Messiah is to bring life to those who believe and receive Him.

Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
Natural bread is necessary for physical life, but it is not sufficient, because all physical life eventuallly dies.

This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Any questions?     What an awesome revelation and promise.

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
Being Carnal Minded is death.     It shuts a person off from the Lord.

Then Jesus said unto them, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son Of Man, and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
We must receive Christ in Truth with no reservations or doubts.

The Jews could not believe that the man standing in front of them was Mighty God and Saviour.     As a result they could not receive His life.

We, who not only acknowledge that Jesus is the express image of His Holy Spirit Father, but receive Him into our being, receive the life of the Holy Spirit Father.

We receive Christ Jesus as the testimony of the Holy Spirit Father and in so doing open ourselves to receive His Spirit, the Holy Spirit Father.

Whoso eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
How do we eat His flesh and drink His blood?
Is this in the communion?     No,
it is in faith that Jesus is the incarnation of the Holy Spirit,
it is in faith that Jesus is Mighty God
it is in faith that Jesus is the one and only Saviour
it is in receiving His Holy Spirit and becoming One with Him.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
The Sacifice that was sown in the grave has produced Eternal Life to whosoever will believe and receive Jesus Christ.

He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him.
We are to come into intimate relationship with Christ

This is only possible through Spirit Baptism and being filled with His Holy Spirit.

Those who waffle as to the deity of Christ Jesus have not eaten His flesh or drunk His blood - meaning they have reservations about Him.

Jesus says that if you want to be One with Him by being filled with His Holy Spirit and being baptized in His Holy Spirit you must believe wholeheartedly that Jesus is the express image of the One and Only True And Living God - the Holy Spirit Father.

As the living Father has sent me, and I live by the Holy Spirit Father: so he that eats me, even he shall live by me.
The Holy Spirit is life.     He filled Jesus with life and by receiving Jesus as Lord and Saviour we are born of His Holy Spirit for the purpose of being filled with His Holy Spirit.

This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eats of this bread shall live for ever.
Eternal Life is the gift of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Eternal Life is the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus in us.
