Babel

And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

Everyone descended from Noah and so spoke the same language.

And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
Shinar is in southern Mesopotamia.

And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
Our Lord made man with ingenuity and creativity.

And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
Nimrod (the likely leader) understood the necessity of having a goal or vision to keep people together, unified.

And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
Pre-incarnate Jesus looked at what man was doing.

And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
The Lord created man in His Image. The implication is that men have the ability to do great things. The only thing necessary for man to accomplish anything is to imagine it, commit to it and work toward it.

Hear me, I will go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another`s speech.
Rather than destroying man again, the Lord chose to fragment their secular oneness by changing their languages and splitting the earth.

So the Lord scattered them abroad from there upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
The continents were formed at this time during the time of Peleg and Nimrod.

Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from there did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
This explains the fact that there are people all over the world with different languages. It also is consistent with the interconnectability of the continents. Though not mentioned, the races were likely created at this time.
God`s purpose was to thwart man`s unity apart from Him.
The current globalist efforts are a revival of the spirit of Babel and its leader, Nimrod.

What was it that offended God about Babel? Obviously Heaven was not being threatened by them?

Did He just not want them wasting their time building the tower?

Did He resent their unity that proceeded from their common language?

What was it that really bothered God so much that he divided the earth, confused the language and separated humanity on the various continents?

After all, that was some very significant action and consequences?

God has a plan. His Plan will be implemented.

The people of Babel had rejected His Plan and came up with their own plan.

Their plan did not include God. Their plan was a plan for orchestrated human effort to achieve an impossible goal.

Man needs God. He was created with a hole in him that can only be filled by God.

The people of Babel had obviously filled their need for God with something.

What was it?
It was Baal.

No, he wasn`t called that in the 11th chapter of Genesis. But "a rose by any other name..." or in this case "a stench by any other name would stink just as badly".

The stench coming up out of Babel was the stench of Baal worship.

Baal worship is the worship of man and the belief that he can solve all his problems and meet all his needs without God.

God has never and will never tolerate Baal worship for any length of time.

Count on it. God will destroy Baal whenever and whenever he shows his head.

Those on the Left have fallen headlong into Baal worship.
- They have blatantly rejected God.
- They have declared war on God`s people.
- They have taught the children against God.
- They have sacrificed the unborn who did not meet the purposes of man.
- They have taken down all moral standards to liberate man from guilt.
- They have not only broken God`s Laws but take pleasure in them that do likewise.

The Day Of Wrath is coming on the children of disobedience.
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
Why do they hide from Christ Jesus?
   ➛ They have knowingly and willfully rejected Him.
   ➛ They have knowingly and willfully given themselves over to worship Satan, the first and greatest rebel against the Lord.

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Even though these people have lived an open life of rebellion against the Lord, they have some knowledge of Him and His righteous judgment.

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
The Day Of Wrath occurs at the return of Jesus.
After He has gathered the dead and living believers into the air with Him, He will speak words of destruction upon those that have worshipped the beast and aligned themselves with Satan.

The time of the fulfillment of this prophesy is near.

Just as in the days of Noah, just has in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, just as in the days of Babel, just as in the days of Elijah so shall it be at the end of this age.

Man will be supreme in his own mind completely unaware that he has been Deceived into worshipping Baal the surrogate of Satan.

Only those who are sealed by the Holy Spirit will escape the Deception and worship of the false god of Baal.

Who is Baal? He is Socialism. He is the NWO. He is the Anti Christ. He is Satan.

Wake up, trim your lamp, show forth your Light and Salt the earth. The days are upon us.
