God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands; It doesn`t even make sense that the Creator of all things would live in something that His creation made. |
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. |
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. |
You compass my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. |
You have beset me behind and before, and laid your hand upon me. |
Where shall I go from your spirit? or where shall I flee from your presence? It is comforting to know that He will never leave nor forsake us. |
If I ascend up into heaven, you are there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, you are there. When we run to Him rather than away from Him, we find life more abundantly. |
If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; |
Even there shall your hand lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. |
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: |
But you, when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly. Prayer is communication with the Lord. It is a personal matter. It is an intimate thing. It is besmirched by anything that is not sincere. |
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with mine eye. |
For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he sees all his goings. |
