For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 2Co 11:13 Those who see believers as suckers for their own self-aggrandizement are false, only pretending to be In Christ.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2Co 11:14 Angels are ministers.     Light is associated with Truth.      Satan has effectively created legions of Angels Of Light who present themselves as ministers and servants while working to bring people into bondage.      He even uses good sounding words like, woke, to deceive.      Note, these ministers may be overtly religious or overtly political.      However, the net effect of their 'ministry' is spiritual bondage, intellectual bondage and physical bondage.      Atheism, Political Correctness, Fascism, False Science, Regimentation, Taxation, Regulation are examples of that bondage.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2Co 11:15 Opportunists will move in on anything that is successful attempting to use it for their own benefit.

There are two key passages in this chapter which make clear what was going on:

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 2Co 11:3 Satan attempts to undermine our faith in the Lord just as he did with Eve.     We must be resolute, never entertaining the doubt that Satan and his children will promote.      The simplicity that is In Christ is simply faith in Christ Jesus - who He is, what He did and what He is doing.

For you suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man strike you on the face. 2Co 11:20 This should be obvious but somehow people are drawn into personality cults.

Verse 3 indicates the problem: preachers moved away from the simple Truth of the Gospel and came up with hybrid doctrines through rationalization.   

Verse 20 tells us the result: the hearer comes under bondage - mental and spiritual - to a minister who attacks who they are in Christ Jesus (face).   

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Gal 1:8 Paul curses those who preach a perverted gospel because they are doing the work of Satan.

False teaching (religiosity) was a problem then and it is a problem now.   

The fruit that the church should be bearing is not evident because of false teaching.   

Behold, what manner of love the Holy Spirit has bestowed upon us, that we should be called His sons: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not. 1Jn 3:1 The calling is not just the naming but is the effecting of us as Sons Of The Holy Spirit.     It is when our words and actions proceed from the transformed Mind and Holy Spirit unction that our calling is effected.      The glory of Christ is what He willed and accomplished for us by enduring the cross and raising Himself from the dead - sonship in the New Birth by His Holy Spirit as joint heirs of all that the Father has.      What world is John talking about?      He is talking about the people on earth who are Carnal Minded having never received the Gospel of Jesus Christ.      Those who are Carnal Minded cannot understand those who have become Spiritual Minded by receiving the Truth and being Born Again.

Any church or minister who does not reinforce the fact that we are now sons of God is misrepresenting the Gospel.   

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain kindness, and find grace to help in time of need. Heb 4:16 Here is understanding    ➛ the Holy Spirit is the Throne Of Majesty    ➛ the Holy Spirit is the Throne Of Grace    ➛ the Lord Jesus Christ sits upon the throne    ➛ the Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus    ➛ we are in the Holy Spirit    ➛ the Holy Spirit is in us    ➛ Grace issues from the Holy Spirit.      Hence, we do not need to go anywhere as we are already In Christ by being in His Holy Spirit.      So, we literally come to the Throne Of Grace by faith in our Heavenly Father`s love, in order for us to receive, just as our Lord Jesus Christ did when He walked the earth.

Any church or minister who does not reinforce our privilege to come to God boldly is misrepresenting the Gospel.   

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Mat 7:7 Jesus is teaching about faith.     To ask effectively you must speak what you desire and you must believe that you will receive.      When we seek we must seek in faith so that we will recognize what we are seeking when we see it.      When we knock we must expect the door to be opened and we must be prepared to enter in confidence.

Any church or minster who does not reinforce this point-blank statement by Christ but rather teaches us to beg and plead with God is misrepresenting the Gospel.   

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. Mar 11:24 A desire is the object of hope.     Desiring and Hoping are activities of the imagination.      Faith is the state of our heart regarding that which we desire.      Jesus is telling us to visualize a desire, ask for it and immediately receive it in faith.      The act of desiring, hoping, asking, believing and receiving by faith is a seed that is planted.     The manifestation of that which is desired is the harvest.      The Spiritual Law of Seed Time And Harvest is foundational to all that the Lord has created.      1) We sow 2) the Lord produces 3) We harvest.

Any church or minister who does not reinforce the Words of Christ Jesus but teaches extreme sovereignty and the constricting will of God is misrepresenting the Gospel.   

Making the word of the Lord of none effect through your tradition, which you have delivered: and many such like things do you. Mar 7:13 What the Lord says matters.     What tradition says may or may not be right and may or may not be good.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Col 2:8 Do not let Grace Through Faith become tainted by the rationalizations of legalism.      Neither should we allow the worldly philosophers to promote their godless, satanic ideas without pushback.      To beware is to be at war against any ideas and promoters of ideas that come against the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.      When an army spoils a country they take the things they can carry and destroy the rest.      Vain philosophies are out to do just that and they should be met with the Word and Holy Spirit.
