Jesus told us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel (good news) of the Kingdom to every creature. -
The purpose for the preaching was that the hearers would be born of the Holy Spirit and thus have a new nature devoid of hate, anger, selfishness. -
No one can be a racist who has been born of God`s Spirit.
No one can be a rioter who is born of God`s Spirit.
No one can be a looter who is born of God`s Spirit.
No one can be an arsonist who is born of God`s Spirit.
No one can be a murderer who is born of God`s Spirit.
The problem in our country is that we ( Christians) did not take seriously the words of our Lord. We have not preached the Gospel to every creature.
We have not told every person that unless they Repent (change their attitude toward God and receive His Life) that they would Perish. -
What we see in our country is perishing at the individual, community, city, state and national level.
The only way we will see healing is to listen once again to the words of Jesus and follow His prescription for Life. -
John put it this way: "He who has the Son ( Jesus) has life. He who has not the Son, has not life." -
Each of us are to be witnesses to the Light, the Way. the Truth, the Life so that our fellowman may be saved from the darkness and death that is existence apart from our loving Heavenly Father. -
