It is quite another thing to succumb to Delusion.   Delusion is the sad State a person enters when he begins to accept a source of Information without consideration of its truthfulness and motives.   

Delusion is a False Reality constructed on Ideas or Opinions - Not facts.   Actually, Facts are the Enemy of a person who is Delusional.   

When a person is Delusional they may come across as confident in their beliefs.   However, this is Just bravado.   In Reality their Beliefs are shallow and fragile.   

The Only Way to bring someone out of Delusion is by Revelation - Revelation of something which conflicts with their Belief System is True.   

Arguing with a Delusional person causes them to hunker down in their Belief System.   The best Way to Help someone out of Delusion is to Ask them questions leading them to See a conflict in their Belief system.   

The most important thing You can share with an Unbeliever is that Jesus Loves them and that He wants a Relationship with them.   This is hard to resist because it is the Truth and it Speaks to an inherent Need in man to be loved and to have a Relationship with his Creator.   

Jesus says unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Holy Spirit Father, but by me. Joh 14:6 Jesus introduces the sandwich prayer - praise, petition, praise.      Isn't it interesting that Christians have been praying this prayer for 2000 years and yet most Christians do not know the name of the Holy Spirit Father?      Oh yes, some Christians will give you a litany of names from the Old Testament, especially YHVH, but still refer to Him as God (which is just a title) or Father which is just a role.      When Jesus spoke these words to His disciples He was leading them to a monumental Truth.     They were still trying to understand who this man was.     So, He could not have held on to them if He told them that the name of the Father was Jesus and that the Father was standing before them and speaking to them.      So, Jesus instructs them to pray to the Father and hallow His 'name' without telling them the Father's name.     The disciples like Christians today either assumed the 'name' to be YHWH or Lord or God.      It was only at the end of His ministry, before going to the cross, that Jesus told them who He is, who the Father is and what the Father's name is Joh 14:6-14 though He had laid down many hints.     Joh 1:18 Joh 5:37 Joh 10:30.      We are to refer to the Holy Spirit Father of Christ Jesus using His name which is Jesus.     We are to ask the Holy Spirit Father for what we need using the name of Jesus Joh 14:13 Joh 15:16 Joh 16:23.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Joh 8:32 To know the Truth means that we have:    ➛ Heard it    ➛ Believed it    ➛ Received it    ➛ Doing it See He Be Re Do.

If You Know a person who has Not Received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior that person is Deluded.   They are Lost.   You may be the Only person to ever share with them the Truth.
