Let my mouth be filled with your praise and with your honour all the day.
Out of the abundance of our heart our mouth speaks.

I am the Lord your Lord, which brought you out of the land of Egypt: open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
The Lord wants us to be filled with His Holy Spirit.

For he satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.
Come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, the Lord has done great things for them.
When we are Born Again, made New Spirit beings who are Free Indeed we experience the joy of the Holy Spirit.

All we can do to try to repay our Lord is to testify to unbelievers of the great and wonderful things He has done for us.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
This is an if-and-only-if statement by Jesus.     He is saying that only those who hunger and thirst after righteousness will be filled.     Those who do not hunger and thirst can not and will not be filled.

Draw near to the Lord and He will draw near to you.

I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

The question whose answer is supremely important is:
    What is righteousness?

From an Old Testament perspective it seems to be obeying the Law.     But we know that Jesus came to fulfill the Law and institute a New Covenant .

What is the New Covenant all about?
Its essence is revealed in the word `filled` in this verse.

John the Baptist foretold how Jesus would bring us the baptism of His Holy Spirit .      In and we understand that we are to be filled with the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus.

This verse is not telling us to seek to be righteous but to be filled with righteousness.     Righteousness is the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus in us .

The Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus in us is the mystery of our purpose, bringing us into glorious expectations for life .

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
The Holy Spirit cannot be contained in physical bodies though He fills them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Spirit Baptism is necessary for a powerful life in Christ.     Yes, we are Born Again and given the gift of Eternal Life by faith in Jesus Christ.     That is necessary for us to be Spirit Filled.

Some people receive the Holy Spirit baptism at the same time as they are Born Again, but most do not.
Primarily, this is a result of not being taught to expect the Holy Spirit baptism.
Secondly, there has been no demonstration of Spirit Baptism in many churches.

For those who may not understand who and what the Holy Spirit is, understand this:
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.
The Holy Spirit is not some 3rd person of some godhead.
The Holy Spirit is the eternal, omniscient, omnipresent being who created us and redeemed us by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Receive Him and fellowship with Him who is Eternal Life and Abundant Life.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of the Lord with boldness.

And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Spirit.
When the Holy Spirit moves there is joy.

Now the Lord of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our joy and peace come to us `in believing` In Christ Jesus.     We receive according to our faith in Him.

Hope is positive expectations.
We are to abound in hope.

Our Heavenly Father is not only hopeful Himself but He is the fulfiller of our hopes.

Our joy, peace, faith and hope are directly related to the power of the Holy Spirit working in us.

To the extent that we walk in the Holy Spirit we experience the spiritual blessings that are provided to us in Heavenly Places.

Those who live their lives apart from the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus have only themselves and mankind in which to hope.
How sad and disapppointing!

It is not in man to direct his own steps.

Accordingly, instead of hope, there is a tendency toward hopelessness and expectation of evil.

Which is his body, the fulness of him that fills all in all.
So the church is the body of Christ and it is to manifest the fullness of His Holy Spirit.

And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of the Holy Spirit.
We should be blown away by the love of Christ.     We should receive the very Fullness Of God.

In Jesus dwells the Fullness Of God.     He wants the same experience for us.

The Fullness Of God is the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things).
The same Jesus called the Son Of Man, the Son Of The Holy Spirit is the one who suffered the death of the cross, who preached to those in paradise, who rose the third day and who has ascended to the right hand of The Majesty to fill us all and so fulfill all of His Plan.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
One of the fruit of the Spirit is temperance (self control).     Excess is to be avoided in all things but especially in those things which cloud our minds and subject us to Satan`s influence.

Being drunk is being under the influence.     Being sober is being clear headed.     Alcohol and drugs are not the only things that can bring one under the influence of Satan,

The Mystery Of God, the Mystery Of Christ is accomplished as we are filled with the Holy Spirit and serve Christ in His power

The Holy Spirit IS Eternal Life.     Receiving Him is receiving Eternal Life.     Apart from Him there is only death.

When Jesus talked about giving us life and life more abundantly, He was talking about giving us His Holy Spirit .

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit ( Christ in us) manifests His glory through us.
