Title: Freely transfer the possession of something to someone

Giving is the nature of God - .   He created all things for His Pleasure - - and His Pleasure is to Give us all things - .

To the degree that we are Givers is the degree that we have received the nature of God.

This is why we are encouraged to Give freely from our hearts - not grudgingly.

Give and it shall be given to you in greater abundance.
Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the Lord: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

I know also, my Lord, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness.     As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for the Lord loveth a cheerful giver.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.     For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the Lord your Lord, which have separated you from other people.

But thou shalt remember the Lord thy the Lord: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy the Lord which he hath given thee.

Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.

And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the Lord.

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the Lord an heave offering in your generations.

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

And blessed be the most high Lord, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand.     And he gave him tithes of all.

Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for the Lord loveth a cheerful giver.

And the Holy Spirit is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices the Lord is well pleased.

But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.

He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

God is the greatest giver.   All things come from Him.   He even gave His Son.
