Who is Jesus?   

He is God (YHVH) in the flesh.   He is the voice and face of God.   

And blessed is he, whoever shall not be offended in me. Mat 11:6 When we believe in our hearts that His Holy Spirit has raised Jesus from the dead we cannot be offended in Him.     It is that belief that results in us being born of His Holy Spirit.     We experience Spirit Salvation and have Eternal Security.

Either Jesus is who He said He is or He is a liar and a fool.   It`s as simple as that.   

For most of their existence mainline denominations have accepted the deity of Jesus without even a shadow of doubt.   

However, in the past several decades, the ecumenical movement has made significant inroads into the foundational beliefs of many so-called Christian churches.   

In an attempt to become open-minded and open-armed, doctrinal shifts have begun to occur.   A new Jesus has been invented - one whose original words and purpose have been replaced by a nebulous cosmic love-force.   

Jesus died that You and I might be forgiven of our sins.   His formula for inclusion in the kingdom of God is simple:

That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that His Holy Spirit has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. Rom 10:9 This is the encapsulation of Grace, clearly pointing out our part which is faith in Jesus and confession of Him as risen Lord and Saviour.      The implication of our part being to believe on Jesus Christ and confess Him as risen Lord, is that He has done everything else!      It is why we call it amazing Grace!      It is why the gospel is nearly too good to be true!      Who raised Jesus from the dead?      He raised Himself Joh 10:17,18 by His Holy Spirit Rom 8:11.

Jesus is the Only way to God:

Jesus says unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Holy Spirit Father, but by me. Joh 14:6 Jesus introduces the sandwich prayer - praise, petition, praise.      Isn't it interesting that Christians have been praying this prayer for 2000 years and yet most Christians do not know the name of the Holy Spirit Father?      Oh yes, some Christians will give you a litany of names from the Old Testament, especially YHVH, but still refer to Him as God (which is just a title) or Father which is just a role.      When Jesus spoke these words to His disciples He was leading them to a monumental Truth.     They were still trying to understand who this man was.     So, He could not have held on to them if He told them that the name of the Father was Jesus and that the Father was standing before them and speaking to them.      So, Jesus instructs them to pray to the Father and hallow His 'name' without telling them the Father's name.     The disciples like Christians today either assumed the 'name' to be YHWH or Lord or God.      It was only at the end of His ministry, before going to the cross, that Jesus told them who He is, who the Father is and what the Father's name is Joh 14:6-14 though He had laid down many hints.     Joh 1:18 Joh 5:37 Joh 10:30.      We are to refer to the Holy Spirit Father of Christ Jesus using His name which is Jesus.     We are to ask the Holy Spirit Father for what we need using the name of Jesus Joh 14:13 Joh 15:16 Joh 16:23.

All other religions are false - this is a fundamental principal of Jesus`s teaching.   

Truly, truly, I say unto you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. Joh 10:1 Now he puts their religiosity in perspective by telling them that they are nothing but thieves and robbers.

Although there is a general distrust (and in some arenas, hatred) of religion, it is still politically correct to use the name God in a prayer or statement about religion in public.   

However, to name the name of Jesus is not acceptable and is more often than not treated as a reason to ostracise the user of that name.   Just as in the days when Jesus walked the earth, it has Now become dangerous to be associated with Him.   

It is for this reason that He pronounced a blessing on those who were not ashamed of Him

But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Holy Spirit; and that believing you might have life through his name. Joh 20:31 The scriptures are the Word of Truth which, when received, is an invitation for the Spirit Of Christ Jesus to make His abode in us creating our New Spirit.      We are Born Again on the authority of the Word by the power of the Holy Spirit.      Since we are Born Again in Spirit and Truth we therefore worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth.     Joh 4:24 We have life through His name.     Jesus is the name of our God.     The Spirit and the Word are One and His name is Jesus.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Act 2:38 What do we need to do to become what our Lord designed us to be?         ➛ Repent for the remission of sins.         ➛ Be Immersed In The Name Of Jesus Christ for remission of sins.         ➛ Receive the gift of His Holy Spirit.      Having the Holy Spirit Father in us and us in Him is our Lord`s purpose in creation.     Mat 28:19 Act 16:31 Rom 10:9,10 The emphasis on the word, baptized, should be on immersion into Christ Jesus - not just as an article of faith but as a lifestyle empowered by the New Spirit being we become in Him.      Everything that is spiritual is eternal.     Water Baptism is not eternal, it is a one time act.      Immersion into Christ Jesus is a state of existence that is eternal.

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Act 3:6 We cannot give what we do not have.      Peter had something.         ➛ He had the Word Of The Lord    ➛ He had the Holy Spirit.      The Word Of The Lord is our authority.      The Holy Spirit is our power.      When we have the Word Of The Lord in our hearts and we are filled with His Holy Spirit we have everything necessary to meet whatever need presents itself.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom the Holy Spirit raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here before you whole. Act 4:10 The Name Of Jesus incorporates the purpose, the life and the hope of Christ Jesus.      Those who murdered Him did not want to hear His name, yet Peter clearly accuses them of His murder and proclaims Christ Jesus as healer of the lame man.

And this did she many days.     But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.     And he came out the same hour. Act 16:18 This is how we deal with demonic possession.     With authority in the name of Jesus.

And such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus by the Holy Spirit. 1Co 6:11 Whatever we were is now irrelevant because of what Christ has done for us and to us.      We are now New Creatures, New Spirit beings who are Sons Of The Holy Spirit and totally and eternally Accepted In The Beloved.     Eph 5:26

Wherefore the Holy Spirit Father also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: Phi 2:9 The eternal omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent Holy Spirit made Himself a body of flesh by which He could:    ➛ reveal the Truth to us    ➛ be a sacrifice for us    ➛ lead us Jesus is the Spirit Soul And Body of our Mighty God and Saviour Heb 1:3.      Jesus is the name of our God.      Every living creature will eventually acknowledge that Jesus is Lord Phi 2:11.

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Phi 2:10 One of these days every knee will bow to Jesus including all those who have received Him as well as all those who have rejected Him.         ➛ For those In Christ it will be a joyful bowing with hearts full of praise and thanksgiving in anticipation of glory in His presence forevermore.         ➛ For those who have rejected Christ Jesus as Mighty God and Savior it will be a terrifying experience in anticipation of judgment followed by punishment in the Lake Of Fire.

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Holy Spirit Father. Phi 2:11 All humanity will speak in confession that Jesus is Lord and thus glorify the Father whose plan He fulfilled.      Who is the Father?     Holy Spirit.      It was the Holy Spirit that impregnated Mary.     It was the Holy Spirit that was in Jesus empowering Him to speak and do His will.      Jesus said if you have seen me you have seen the Father.         ➛ Jesus is the body of the Holy Spirit.         ➛ The Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.      The glory of the Holy Spirit Father is His elation in bringing about the salvation of so many to be forever in His presence in full fellowship.

And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit Father by him. Col 3:17 We are to see ourselves as ambassadors of Christ Jesus seeking opportunities to bring His truth and His blessings to those who are in darkness and suffering.      But we must willfully and knowingly determine to manifest as Sons Of The Holy Spirit.

And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:23 John is obviously talking to immature Christians who need to focus on faith and love.

And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Holy Spirit Father may be glorified in the Son. Joh 14:13 Whatsoever You Shall Ask    ➛ `Whatsoever` has no bounds, no limits.         ➛ Can you, will you believe what Jesus says here?      In My Name    ➛ Jesus wants us to ask for whatever we desire using His name.         ➛ Why In Jesus` Name?               → Jesus is God's name          → It is only polite to speak to God using His name.               → It demonstrates our faith in Jesus as God, our provider          → When we ask In Jesus` Name, His Holy Spirit Father in us performs the work and in so doing validates Jesus as His express image glorifying Himself In Christ Jesus.      Glorified In The Son    ➛ speaks to the fact that we can only know the Father through the Son.         ➛ The Holy Spirit Father incarnated Himself in Christ Jesus by whom He reveals Himself to us in thought, in Word and in action.         ➛ When we ask In Jesus` Name and the answer comes, we understand that is by the Spirit Of Christ Jesus in us and so the Holy Spirit Father is glorifed.      Now we have the Father in us so that we are One with Him even as our Lord Jesus Christ is One with His Holy Spirit Father Joh 17:11,21,22,23.      How does answered prayer glorify our Heavenly Father?         ➛ Jesus is the express image of His Holy Spirit Father.         ➛ It is by the power of His Holy Spirit Father that this promise is kept.      Think about how asking and not receiving actually denigrates our Heavenly Father.     It makes Him appear unconcerned, unloving.      Jesus was the original faith preacher.     So, when He makes a statement like this, He assumes you have taken to heart His command: Have Holy Spirit faith!      Mar 11:22 Faith is not something we conjure up.     It comes by hearing believing and receiving the Word Of The Lord.      When we hear, believe and receive the Word, the Holy Spirit in us can manifest His fruit of supernatural faith, which can accomplish anything Mar 9:23.      Get into the Word until you have faith in it.     Then when you speak the Word it will accomplish our Lord`s purpose by His Holy Spirit Isa 55:11.

If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Joh 14:14 What a promise!      Christ Jesus has signed a blank check for us.     By faith we fill the check in and cash it.      Do you believe the Word Of The Lord?      If so, meditate on this verse until you are convinced of the totality of our Father`s love and the magnificence of Christ`s provision for us by Grace Through Faith.      Who is the one that we ask?     The Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.

You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Holy Spirit Father in my name, he may give it you. Joh 15:16 Jesus directly called the 12.      Were you directly called?     Not until you heard the Gospel.     When you heard the Gospel the Holy Spirit revealed to you that it is Truth.     This is the calling that we receive.     Our response to it seals our being chosen.      The 12 had to follow Jesus in order to seal their calling and be chosen.      The Holy Spirit is given to us to empower us to ask and receive, to bear fruit, and to live in Christ`s authority.

And in that day you shall ask me nothing.     Truly, truly, I say unto you, Whatsoever you shall ask the Holy Spirit Father in my name, he will give it you. Joh 16:23 Jesus is telling us to refer to His Holy Spirit Father using His name, Jesus.     That is because the Holy Spirit Father is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.      That day to which Jesus is referring is the day of Pentecost when His Holy Spirit came to dwell in us.      The Holy Spirit is Christ in us the hope of glory Col 1:27.

Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full. Joh 16:24 Up to this point the disciples hsd spoken to God as YHVH, referring to Him as Lord.     Now, Jesus tells His disciples to speak to YHVH using the name Jesus.      In the Name Of Jesus is literally using the name, Jesus .      The Lord wants us to be joyful.     The second fruit of His Holy Spirit is joy.     Expect it, claim it and walk in it.     It is part of your inheritance in Christ Jesus.
