All scripture is given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2Ti 3:16 The Word Of The Lord is immutable and will be used to judge the quick and the dead.      The Word Of The Lord is Spirit and life Joh 6:63 Those who never find it never know the Lord who is life Rom 1:16 Those who ignore it walk in darkness Psm 119:105

That the man of the Lord may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2Ti 3:17 The Holy Spirit teaches us what is in the Word by giving Spiritual Revelation.      The scottish word Graith reflects the understanding and appropriation of this verse.

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 2Pe 1:20 The Truth of the scripture is for all men to receive.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of the Lord spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2Pe 1:21 The Holy Spirit who filled Jesus also spoke through the prophets about Him who would be Saviour and Lord and King.      Most believers do not understand the nature of our Lord`s partnership with us.     He is very reluctant to do anything in the earth unilaterally.     He moves on men by His Holy Spirit inspiring and empowering them to words and actions.      (I wonder how many Old Testament people were inspired and empowered that never spoke or acted.     We never heard of them because they kept quiet and refused to act).      The Holy Spirit does not force anyone to speak or to act.     This is exactly why the world is in the mess it is in today.     The Holy Spirit has been excluded by many believers and those who have received Him have not been obedient to Him.      By the way, we are holy by faith In Christ which results in the Holy Spirit abiding in us who then produces right speech and right actions in us (ie, the evidence of holiness).      May believers begin to understand that the ball is in our court as the Lord has given us everything for life and holiness 2Pe 1:3, most importantly, Himself in His Holy Spirit Act 2:17

Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psm 119:105 The Word Of The Lord is given to us to keep us from falling and to enable us to see the good Path for our lives.      To be disconnected from the Word is to be in darkness and so to stumble, fall and end up in a sorry place.

So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isa 55:11 The Word Of The Lord (the Law Of God) has built-in rewards and punishments.      This is what this verse is speaking to.     God's Word will accomplish His will which is to bless that which is good and curse that which is evil.      In the midst of His Word providing the framework in which all things exist including the order by which it exists, our Lord is able to be who He is - the God of Love and Grace.

For the word of the Lord is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Heb 4:12 The Word of the Lord destroys our Sin Nature and makes us a New Spirit being.         ➛ If we stay in the Word it will transform our minds to the Mind Of Christ.         ➛ If we trust the Word it will heal our bodies.         ➛ By the Word and the Holy Spirit we come to have the thoughts and intents of the Lord so purifying our hearts.      The Word became flesh and dwelt among us Joh 1:14 Jesus is the Incarnate Word.     To love Jesus is to love His Word.     Those who do not love His Word only love the idea of Jesus.     It is how a man might love a woman's body but care nothing for her spirit and soul.
