Title: When one thing miraculously becomes another

Transubstantiation is the Roman Catholic doctrine that the bread and wine used in the Eucharist substantively change into the actual Body and Blood of Jesus Christ during mass, while retaining their original appearance, taste, and smell.   This central belief affirms Christ's real presence rather than a symbolic one.    -- Britannica

The Flesh And Blood of Christ was made from Mary and the Holy Spirit Father .

Because of the Holy Spirit Father Jesus was born without Original Sin .

Because Jesus humbled Himself, being obedient even to death, there was no individual sin or even guile in Him .

Jesus' body of Flesh And Blood died and then rose again .   However, He did not keep that body.   Maybe He retained some of its features but He actually was 'glorified' and took on a body that was 'spiritual' in the sense that it was able to go through walls and appear out of nowhere .

Jesus' body that suffered and died was temporary - it was human flesh.   When it had served its purpose He discarded it for one which was so much better.

When Jesus returns we will see Him in yet another body - one which is magnificent with splendor that we cannot imagine .

So, what was Jesus getting at when He said you must eat and drink my Flesh And Blood?

Was He speaking literally as the crowds took it and turned away?

Was He turning the bread and wine of the last supper into His Flesh And Blood?

What exactly was Jesus getting at in His command and His comparison?

He was talking about Oneness The same Oneness between He and His Holy Spirit Father.   He was talking about Spiritual Marriage.

Spiritual Marriage occurs when a person agrees with the Lord and loves the Lord, not just as friends, but as intimately connected, even fused, beings existing in eternal fellowship.

How on earth does this happen?

Jesus told us .
    you abide in Me
    My words abide in you

But how do we abide in Him?
We are Spirit Baptized - immersed IN and filled WITH the Holy Spirit Father .

And how does His Word abide in us?
We read it and meditate on it 'day and night' as David said .

What does eating and drinking His Flesh And Blood do to us?
    We become like Him
We manifest as Sons Of God
    We do His works .

The difference between imbibing the bread and the wine and eating and drinking His Flesh And Blood is like the difference between reading a college brochure and studying to receive a PhD from it.

Doing communion has some value but it is a substitute.

Believing that the bread and wine become the actual body and blood of Christ may give a deeper sense of religiosity about the sacrament.

But Jesus never wanted us to place value in the flesh, rituals or sacraments.
He wanted intimate, personal relationship with us so that we become One with Him enabling us to live in Him and Him in us .

'God is Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in SpiritAndTruth.'

We must be IN His Spirit and we must be IN His Truth
Prepositions matter.

In Christ is where we are to BE.
    not just about Him
    not just on Him
    but IN Him

Christ's teachings on Flesh And Blood spoke to His desire for us to be like Him in the way He lived and acted .

Stop being a 'loaves and fishes' follower.
Stop being a sacrament follower.
Be a Son Of God .
