The only thing, but it is a wonderful thing, that the Lord does for us is give us a New Spirit.
We are Born Again by faith In Christ Jesus which means the Lord gives us a New Spirit that is Eternal Life.
Our Soul must submit to our New Spirit by allowing our minds to be renewed by His Word and our wills to surrender to His will which is effected by His Holy Spirit in us.
Because some believers want to circumvent His Word and keep living by their own will they remain ineffective, inconsistent children.
It is through Holy Spirit Baptism that our soul is reoriented and empowered to see Christ formed in us.
