I never want to castigate a minister who lifts up Jesus Christ as Creator, Mighty God, Savior, Lord and King as we are all a products of how we were taught at an early age. Sometimes it takes years for us to learn better. Sometimes we are too stubborn to change.
However, the problem of Judaism is real and has been since the days of Christ on earth. Judaism is based on Jews being the 'chosen people'.
When Christ came teaching that Judaism was not sufficient, He was hated by those vested in it. As it became clearer and clearer throughout His ministry that He was supplanting Judaism, the hatred took action and put Him to death.
I have many posts and comments regarding the negative impact Judaism had on early Christianity and still has today. The impact today is manifested through the traditions of the Catholic Church and its impact on Protestantism.
"It is easier to fool someone than it is to convince them they have been fooled". So, traditions die hard, and often truth is rejected if it contradicts tradition.
➛ Judaism is about acceptance by God based on genetics.
➛ Catholicism is based on acceptance by God through the Catholic Church.
➛ Christianity is based on acceptance by God by His Grace through Faith in who God is - Jesus Christ - what He did, and what He has made you to be in the New Birth.
The New Birth is about what happens to a person spiritually when they 'marry' Christ Jesus. If you have an issue with the term 'marry' with respect to what happens with Christ Jesus, consider the fact that He did what He did for us in order for us to be One with Him as He is One with His Holy Spirit Father.
Any divergence from this Truth is departure from the purity, authority and power of the Truth.
