Some Conditioned Responses are beneficial. Some are not.
It is not a normal response for a person to pull the trigger of a gun aimed at another person.
However, soldiers are trained and so conditioned that when an enemy uniform is sighted that they instantaneously raise their weapon, aim it and fire it with the intent to kill the enemy soldier.
Such is a Conditioned Response.
When a child touches something that is hot and gets burned they are conditioned to stay clear of hot things.
Muslims are trained and so conditioned to hate infidels.
For some reason Christian ministers began to condition believers to not resist the devil but to tolerate him.
They also began to teach believers to condone evil rather than to abstain from even the appearance of it.
As far as I am aware, no ministers have taught about the evils of compromise and so gave tacit approval to it as a way of governing.
Jesus knew all men. He saw their heart and knew whether they were worthy of mercy or in need of rebuke and judgment.
Of course, Jesus was filled with His Holy Spirit Father whereas many ministers have shunned the powerful, inciteful Spirit Of Christ in favor of a rational, 'give everyone the benefit of the doubt' pass just to 'get along'.
In teaching such a powerless, submissive attitude to believers they were conditioned to be totally ineffective when attacked.
Witness the collapse of Western Civilization.
The collapse is due primarily to the lack of vision in Christian ministers. That lack of vision is directly a result of disdaining the Spirit And Truth - Holy Spirit Baptism and the Word Of Truth.
SocialGospel replaced Gospel Truth conditioning church-attendees to live moderate lifestyles, suffer rather than fight and tolerate whatever the enemy threw at them.
As a result, Christians only thought they knew how Christ would deal with what they face today - but not really.
jesus would not
➛ put on a bracelet
➛ wear a silly smile
➛ just pray when things go awry
➛ fall for repeated lies
➛ forgive the unrepentant
➛ enclave with believers
➛ entertain Himself to death
No, Jesus would be using the authority and power He gave to us to turn the world upside down so the Father's will is done here on earth as it is in heaven.
What would Jesus do?
Consider what He did 2000 years ago:
➛ preached and taught
➛ healed
➛ delivered
➛ raised the dead
➛ commanded nature
➛ offended the authorities
➛ was persecuted
➛ was crucified
➛ rose from the dead
Consider what He said He would do when He returns:
➛ first catch His saints up in the clouds
➛ destroy the wicked
➛ establish His kingdom in power over the earth
Most believers have not been taught to do what Jesus did when He walked the earth nor what He will do when He returns.
Their Conditioned Response to evil has virtually nothing to do with Christ and that is our problem.
